We welcome guests with disabilities and want everyone to enjoy the magic, entertainment, and community of our Festival. Please review the following information to help plan your visit.
Accessibility at the New Mexico Renaissance Festival
Paths and terrain: A paved sidewalk extends from the main entrance through most of the main stage areas. Some stages, vendor booths, and activity tents are located off the sidewalk and reached by unpaved paths of dirt, gravel, or small rocks. These paths are generally smooth, but some sections may be uneven or difficult to navigate with a wheelchair.
Wheelchairs and mobility scooters: All stage areas can be reached by guests using mobility devices, although some routes include unpaved terrain. Manual wheelchair users may find certain dirt or gravel sections challenging and may benefit from assistance. Motorized wheelchairs and mobility scooters generally handle these areas more easily, though conditions and individual mobility needs vary.
Interpretation services: At this time, the Festival does not have sign language or foreign language interpreters available. We welcome qualified volunteers interested in providing sign language interpretation for guests who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Please contact the Festival team if you would like to volunteer. Any future interpretation availability will depend on confirmed arrangements.
Restrooms: ADA-accessible restrooms are available on the Festival grounds.
Planning your visit: If you have questions about accessibility or would like to discuss a specific access need, please contact the Festival team before your visit. We are happy to explain the grounds and discuss how we can help you enjoy your day.
We look forward to welcoming you to the New Mexico Renaissance Festival!
